Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through Norfolksocks.com. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
1. Price Promise
We are committed to offering high-quality products at competitive prices, delivered in accordance with our Delivery Policy.
2. Shopping at Norfolksocks.com
Ordering is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our checkout process is designed to be clear, secure and as streamlined as possible. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron) through our secure payment partners Stripe and PayPal.
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP). If you choose to pay via PayPal, you may also complete your purchase in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD); PayPal will apply its prevailing exchange rate.
International Duties, Taxes & Customs Charges
We ship internationally; however, any customs duties, import taxes, handling fees or other charges applied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.
These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices and must be paid directly to the relevant authority or courier before delivery can be completed.
If customs charges are paid and the order is later cancelled or returned, these charges are non-refundable by Norfolksocks and must be reclaimed directly from the relevant authority or customs agency where applicable.
Failure to pay such charges may result in the parcel being delayed, returned to us, or destroyed by customs. In such cases, the order will be treated as a failed delivery and will be subject to our Failed Delivery & Returned Parcels policy.
Norfolksocks has no control over these charges and accepts no responsibility for any delays, costs or consequences arising from customs procedures or local regulations.
4. Delivery
Delivery is subject to our published Delivery & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within 1–2 working days. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control including postal delays, peak periods or customs inspections.
Failed Delivery or Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
- Failure to collect following Royal Mail notification
- Refused delivery
We reserve the right to either:
- Charge for re-delivery; or
- Cancel the order and refund the goods only, minus original delivery costs and any return fees incurred.
If a delivery issue arises due to courier error and not customer fault, we will investigate and resolve this in accordance with our legal obligations.
5. VAT
All applicable items include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate.
6. Returns Policy
Our Returns Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions and should be read in conjunction with this document.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
7. Order Cancellation
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.
To cancel, you must notify us in writing via email quoting your order number. If your order has already been dispatched, you must return the goods in accordance with our Returns Policy.
This right does not apply to customised or personalised items.
8. Complaints Procedure
We welcome your feedback and aim to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
Please email [email protected] with details of your complaint. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 1 working day and resolve them as promptly as possible.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may request escalation to a Customer Services Manager.
9. Information Accuracy
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, imagery and specifications are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur and we reserve the right to correct them without prior notice.
10. Colour Representation
We seek to represent product colours as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary depending on device settings, screen calibration and lighting conditions. Minor colour variation does not constitute a product fault.
11. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
12. Product Quality & Warranty
All Norfolksocks products are covered by a six-month warranty against manufacturing defects arising from normal use. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect washing, general wear and tear or accidental damage.
If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us with your order details and supporting photographs where possible. We will assess whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate.
13. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to postal delays, courier failures, customs procedures, service outages or force majeure events.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
14. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on Norfolksocks.com. Continued use of the website after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
